Learning Materials Resources

There are a plethora of learning materials now available for homeschooling families. On one hand, this is great (there's so much more than when we started homeschooling years ago), on the other hand, all of the choices can be baffling and at times, overwhelming for families (and their pocketbooks).

Through the years I have gone through countless websites and catalogs to find materials for my own son, as well as the families enrolled in the BayShore School private ISP. The listings on this site are the results of my "curriculum explorations."

Please note that these listings are not paid advertisements! They reflect personal opinions (my own, as well as other homeschoolers that I've known) about products or companies. This website does not accept advertising, so please do not contact to ask for rates or inclusion onto these pages. Only those products (books, curricula), catalogs, and services with which I have personal knowledge will be included. For those who are interested in being included, you will need to send an inquiry, explaining your products/services, and providing a website address. You may also be requested to send a copy of your product (not returnable, but will be used by families enrolled with the BayShore School private independent study program). No exceptions - sample product will be required (how else can we determine the efficacy of it?!). Send inquiries to Lenore Hayes.

Onto the resources!
