We're Back!

What was thought would be a two month hiatus from organizing/editing this newsletter turned out to be nearly a year! Life with children and elderly parents just has a way of stumbling all over the place sometimes, doesn't it?

The Letter Home (TLH) began publication in 1992, initially as a paper newsletter for homeschooling families enrolled in the BayShore School, private independent study program. Through the years, TLH has evolved into an online/email only resource, addressing southern California homeschooling families. Once again, it is time for TLH to "grow up" a bit more. In the next few months, we will be taking a slightly altered direction by adding a few family friendly features, and the focus will expand beyond homeschooling families (however, we will still include homeschooling events and items).

TLH will remain free! You can read it online here, or you can request it be emailed to you (see below for details). This current month will only be available online as we work through some glitches - sorry for the inconvenience! We will continue to be somewhat picky about what we include in TLH, and at some point before this summer, we will start including small ads (again, we'll be picky!).

If you have any ideas or suggestions you'd like to share, please drop a line!
