• A to Z Home's Cool
This is homeschooling veteran Ann Zeise's site. It is the most comprehensive and up-to-date compendium of everything related to homeschooling. There is a warning on the website that reads - "Before entering this homeschool site, be sure small children are safely occupied, you have gone to the bathroom, and have plenty of snacks on hand. This is a large education site with lots to read and do!" Believe it! And enjoy!

• Best Homeschooling
Another homeschooling veteran, Lillian Jones started this website of informative and insightful articles by varied array of writers. There are also a number of links to other helpful websites.

• California Homeschool Network (CHN)
One of the secular state nonprofit organizations. Their site has a lot of helpful articles and resources. The organization sponsors an annual homeschooling conference in Riverside County.

Home Education Magazine (HEM) P.O. Box 1083, Tonasket, WA 98855-1083
A good combination of opinion, homeschooling personal experiences, and resources. Editors/publishers, Mark & Helen Hegener don't shy away from discussing problems within the homeschooling movement.

• Homefires
Another incredibly helpful website from yet another homeschooling veteran, Diane Flynn Keith. This site is an outgrowth of the Homefires magazine that she published for years in northern California.

• Homeschool Association of California (HSC)
The oldest secular and inclusive California nonprofit organization dedicated to the state's homeschoolers. Many, many helpful articles, links, and just a fun site to visit.  Organization also sponsors an annual conference in Sacramento.
