• Colored Overlays
It has been found that many individuals with visual dyslexia are able to perceive words and numbers more accurately when reading them through an overlay, a thin sheet of plastic. They come in a number of colors, and require trial-and-error to determine which one will work best for any given individual. Specific colors, or an assessment kit with 24-color samples and a DVD (showing how to assess) are available. Personal note - these are very helpful!
